We had the most delightful and delicious “post wedding brunch” imaginable in the River Room at the Aster Cafe! On Sunday, August 5th 2018 from 11-2 we hosted 85 guests with fabulous food, amazing views and fun beverages! Our guests truly enjoyed the special location on historic Main Street with spectacular views of downtown Minneapolis and the Mississippi River. Every detail of the event was handled to perfection! The River Room was absolutely beautiful and the food was fresh, creative & delicious! The staff was helpful and took care of every aspect of our very special day. It was truly a wonderful way to say goodbye & thank all the guests who attended the wedding. Thank you so very much to the team at the Aster Cafe for making this wedding brunch something we and our guests will not soon forget! It was EXCELLENT!

Here is my long overdue THANK YOU to Aster Cafe. My husband and I were married September 16, 2017. We had the ceremony in the Shasta Tent and reception in The River Room. The night was truly magical. The event coordinator helped make sure that the wedding ceremony and reception were intimate and personal. She heard my vision and made it happen. She made planning easy and stress-free. Staff was extremely helpful, accommodating, hilarious, and all around wonderful. The food was delicious. It was better than I could have ever imagined. We had so many compliments from guests. Gorgeous space, gorgeous people, wish I could do it all over again.

Parking

Ramp parking is recommended because it’s convenient & inexpensive at $5 for the first two hours. Enter ramp off 2nd Street SE & 2nd Avenue SE.
